This workshop will provide a forum to discuss current topics in uncertainty and mobile robots. This is the third in a series of workshops whose aim is to bring together researchers from robotics and AI to allow a constructive exchange of thoughts and experiences. The first two events in the series were held in Amsterdam (RUR '95) and in Stockholm (RUR '99). The RUR 2001 workshop will be part of IJCAI 2001, and will put a stong emphasis on the problem of understanding the intended semantics of the uncertainty representations used in robotic applications.
